Highrock Church (Redesign)

Many of you are in business - not just as a job, but because God has shaped and called you to serve Him in the marketplace.  There are many ways God's work is accomplished through business, so that is a holy vocation as much as any other. But few believers in business get much help navigating the common challenges faced by Christians in the corporate world, so sometimes it can be difficult to know how to follow Christ there.

That has always been true, but recent conversations with several senior level business people at Highrock have included their desire to connect with younger Highrockers in business for the purpose of discipleship, encouragement, and networking. 

For this reason, on Friday, May 4th, I am inviting all Highrockers who are called to follow Christ in the marketplace to join us for our 5th "Highrock Means Business" event.

We will meet 7:00-8:30AM in the Highrock Commons.  During our time together, a fellow Highrocker will share about their experience in business. 

I will offer a short devotional study; we will hear a short story from another Highrocker,  and the rest of the time we will talk in smaller groups. We will wrap up promptly at 8:15 so that people can get to work or class.  

The purpose of this event is both to help us consider these important topics that Christians in business must wrestle with, but at least equally important is our goal of creating a space for new friendships and mentoring relationships to form between Highrockers serving God in the marketplace.
