Highrock Spiritual Guides
The mission of Highrock Spiritual Guides is to provide individualized spiritual care and direction to all of Highrock’s members on a regular basis by a trained staff member. Our prayer is that through the assistance of Highrock Guides, each of Highrock’s members will be better able to connect to God personally, connect to God’s people, and connect to God’s purposes on this journey of life!
Each member of Highrock will meet with a Highrock Guide for a minimum of once per year in order to renew membership. Think of it as your opportunity to receive a free “spiritual check-up” and to enjoy individualized care from church staff. You can also meet with a guide more regularly – as often as once per month - if you like. Meetings will last for one hour and be kept strictly confidential.

CONNECTING TO GOD PERSONALLY
There is nothing more important in life than our relationship with God! Yet it is often difficult for us to be intentional about that relationship. Highrock Guides can help you to become more intentional about your spirituality and to grow in areas such as prayer, discernment, calling, spiritual disciplines, experiencing God, applying Scripture, and more. Our guides are not professional therapists or social workers, but they can assist you in getting further help if you need it.
CONNECTING TO GOD'S PEOPLE
Healthy Christian spirituality is nurtured in the context of authentic community. Highrock Guides will check in with you to make sure that you are connecting in life-giving ways with the body of Christ, especially through small groups and accountability/discipling relationships. We will help you to get better settled into community if you have not yet found a home. And if you have found a home, we’ll explore ways to make your experience even better!
CONNECTING TO GOD'S PURPOSES
Each of us has the exciting privilege of participating in God’s mission here on earth—to see His kingdom come more fully! (Matthew 6:33) Highrock Guides will help you to discern whether your spiritual gifts are being used to their fullest for the growth and glory of the kingdom of God. You will be given a spiritual gifts assessment test called S.H.A.P.E. You will have a chance to reflect on your gifts and your current areas of ministry with your guide, and to brainstorm ways that you could be more fruitful for His kingdom. Highrock Guides are also available to introduce you to new ministry possibilities.
In addition to these meetings, Highrock Spiritual Guides also conducts seminars throughout the year for the entire church on topics such as prayer, discernment, and cultivating healthy spirituality within community.
