Worship Ministry
The Arts at Highrock encompass a broad range of ministries that provide a place for people's energy and creativity to be harnessed, expressed and nurtured in the context of community. We believe God is the supreme artist and creator. As people made in his image, we reflect who God is whenever we exercise the creative gifts and abilities he has given to us. Especially when we are using our gifts to worship God and to serve others.
Worship Band
Music is one of the most significant elements of worship at Highrock. Visit on a Sunday and you'll find yourself in a thoughtfully crafted contemporary worship experience that serves to prepare people for God's Word and give voice to our response to Him. We don't expect everyone who visits Highrock to like the style of music played. For some it's too loud, and for some it's not loud enough. But we hope everyone will come to appreciate that what we do is earnest and passionate worship as a community. Our repertoire is carefully chosen by our worship leaders and ranges from the most current contemporary worship songs to new arrangements of ancient hymns.
The worship band is a team of musicians who serve the Highrock community by leading it in worship through music. As a ministry, we're more than just a band. We fully believe God is our audience and our job is to create a safe environment where people can encounter God and respond to Him. Therefore, our measure of success is not merely in how good we sound (although we believe that's important too!), but whether our congregation and ourselves included, are being lead into an ever deepening communion with God. The worship band is merely an extension of the congregation. We're real people using our gifts to serve and lead others, and striving for excellence in all we do because we believe God is worthy of our best.

Worship Design Team
The Worship Design Team is a team of coordinators responsible for creating environments where people can encounter God and respond to Him. We design and coordinate worship services by bringing together the arts, technology, ambiance, music, and liturgy into an integrated worship experience. Through thoughtful creative planning and a pastoral approach, we strive to make each service relevant, engaging and edifying. A lot of care and attention to detail goes into each worship service at Highrock... so that worshipers can devote their full attention to God. Worship coordinators plan and execute all Sunday services as well as special services throughout the year.
