College Ministry
At Highrock, the college ministry is a vital part of the community and mission of Highrock. The college ministry seeks to help students grow closer to God and to one another through studying the Word and through community. The college minstry also seeks to be part of the overall life of the church such as being in involved in ministries and small groups. The beauty of the college ministry at Highrock is that it is composed of various colleges from all over Boston and that it seeks to fully interact with the various lifestages within the church.
The main area of college ministry is at monthly College Gatherings. At these Gatherings, a family from Highrock opens their home for fellowship and food to college students. The purpose is three-fold: 1) inter-campus fellowship 2) inviting seekers to a home cooked meal 3) a space for discipleship relationships to organically happen with College Mentors.
Discipleship is the main focus of college ministry as we seek to work alongside campus fellowships. Discipleship is a clear way the church can help the mission of the fellowship and the mission of Christ.
